Please note that per the Final Rule on the
Deregulation of Small PHAs published June 24,
2003, PHAs that operate less than 250 PH units
and are non-troubled, will NOT be assessed on
their MASS, PASS and RASS for fiscal years
ending 9-30-07, 12-31-07, 3-31-08 and 6-30-08.
Please note that PHAs MAY choose to be assessed
for these fiscal year ends if they want to. If
so, you must notify REAC.
Additionally, PHAs that administer less than 250
Housing Choice Vouchers and are not designated
troubled, will NOT be assessed on SEMAP and do
not have to submit their SEMAP for the fiscal
year ends indicated above. Again, you MAY
choose to be assessed if you want to improve
your score or change your status. Please advise
our office if you will be submitting your
certification.
Please note that ALL PHA's are required to
submit their FASS annually.
